Hey i've been looking for a bass constructor who can look at a scketch and build it. I have a specific design that I would like made when I get the CASH....so if anybody kknows anyone let me know..Keep It Hard And Keep It Rockin'!!

Most anyone would be willing to do it for the right price. The first ones that come to mind are Benavente, Stambaugh and Dolan
Dont call bebensee, you might not be young enough to play it when its done!

Can you show us your ideas? A lot of people here have a lot of experience and can probably give you some good advice (not saying you have to take it.) In part Im just curious to see your design.

I sent him an e-mail about a year ago and still haven't heard anything back...I always picture Ken as some mad scientist who never comes out of his workshop and is never seen or heard from...I've heard he lives out in the middle of nowhere too 
To the original poster though - I'd definatly look at Stambaugh. He turns out really great looking stuff at a very reasonable price. He does custom body shapes for no upcharge, and just about any other custom option you could think of at the best prices around.

yup 35 months and still no bass!

My vote as well. Most builders will NOT do custom shapes at all. Its counter productive if you run batches. If your building one at a time, or just a few at a time, its a little different and Bud does a great job of managing that. That would be my first question when calling around too, will you do a custom shape designed by me? Id be willing to bet 9/10 will not.
I'll give a +1 to Stambaugh as well. Chris does fantastic work, and is reasonably priced. I wasnt aware he did custom shapes or Id have agreed sooner along with Bud Lecompte.
