Custom J-Bass (i know, another custom bass thread)

thanks to all of you guys for following this thread. i talked to Chok today and he's on the final coating and it will only take at least a week to get everything ready!!! but he will still send me some more pics of the progress, and i will post them here again. for now, he said that the neck is all covered with tape cos he's working on the frets already. so no pics yet.

so, let's wait for a little bit more. this is hard man! this waiting game is really killing me!!!

thanks guys for the compliments and comments on this project! i do also like the plain color of the quilted top, but i guess i'm just more of a fan of bursts colors, i have a sunburst Sadowsky MS5 as well. and my guitarist just made a quilt maple top from my luthier few months ago with natural color, i don't want us to look like twin on stage!

i got this baby last night after the gig. and what can i say? looks and feel? AWESOME!!!!

tonight will be the judgment night, first gig! i tried it with my tascam bass trainer with a headphone, wow man!!! sounds great!!! but we'll see tonight in the real world how it goes.

i will do a mini review later.

i thought i could finally sleep well after getting it, but i can't! i keep on looking and playing this bass cos its just AWESOME!!!
