Up for grabs is a beautiful PJ bass I had made in 2018 by the lovely crew at Overwater. It is super lightweight - weighing in at a mere 7.6 lbs. I think the black and maple looks stunning and it sounds even better than it looks. The electronics are an active 3 band EQ and the controls are as follows from top to bottom: 1) Stacked - Volume (top), pick-up Blend (lower) 2) Stacked - Treble (top), Bass (lower) - cut and boost/center ‘flat' 3) Stacked - Mid control; Lower - frequency sweep, top cut and boost 4) Passive tone/treble roll off. The neck is maple and I requested it to be thin from front to back - 21 mm depth at 1st fret and 24mm at the 15th. Not only is the 33” neck profile slim, but it also has 1.45" nut width and 16.5mm bridge spacing. Body is reduced size precision shape - lightweight swamp ash and it comes equip with Overwater Noiseless pickups. Black hardware, Neutrik Locking jack, b/w/b pickguard. The body is gloss black and the neck is finished. Skip the wait and purchase this one for a deep discount. Pics below:

Comes with the original Overwater hardshell case. The one and only trade I will entertain is for a Moollon Precision, to which I will add cash to on my end. Outside of that, this one is for sale only. Price is negotiable for a local sale - I'm not too far from the DMV area and I'm willing to meet in the surrounding states. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions. Thanks for looking, have a wonderful day!

I was previously holding this bass for another member. Haven’t heard from them so this one is back on the market.

This one is back up for grabs as I've realized that having 2 PJs is a bit excessive. This was my main gigging bass last year, but no major cosmetic blemishes. Full disclosure - in inspecting the bass, I did notice that there are a few indentation lines in the paint on the back of the bass. I could barely get them to show up in a photograph, and they are extremely hard to see unless you are looking for them. Nothing through the wood and it certainly does not affect playability. Another thing is, when it was recently set up, the nut was cut slightly too low for the new G string. My tech put a thin layer in the slot to prevent any type of buzz. Outside of that, it is still a great sounding, feeling, and playing bass. The electronics and truss rod are both in working order. Recent pictures of the bass:

Since trades are not an option (?!?) I’m going to have to figure out how to sell a couple of things! That’s a lovely bass.

My luthier stated that he made a baking soda paste and filed it down. No buzzing on any note and the action is low.
