Hello Folks, i'm glad to join this wonderful community after years being an avid reader!

So, i'm putting together a custom made bass that will resemble to a bare bones Sting ray. It will be sting ray shaped, with a Bartolini MMC Musicman (which has a 8K ohm resistance in series BTW) , but nothing more than passive electronic parts. I was thinking to give it something more than a volume and a tone control, so i think that wiring it with a G&L PTB would be a nice touch. I already have the infamous 1Meg reverse audio pot. Now the wiring from the outside has to be as clean as possible, so absolutely no microswitch (just the 3 pots), but i'd like to have the OMG switch through a Push-pull pot (the treble one - 250 K). Now, i will wire the pick to be in series (and just that, no parallel no single), but i can't figure out if I can make a push-pull pot to do the OMG thing. Any wiring i've found is using a DPDT switch ON-ON-ON to have the single-parallel-OMG wiring, but i would like to use the Switch that you can find in an Alpha push / pull A250K pot. Can anyone help me figure out how to make this idea work? Is it Possible to just have an OMG switch on a push pull Pot configuration? Thank you very much!

i upload the schematics i'm studying, but i do not own any rights over them

I did something along these lines some years back. That was a relatively early mod project for me; I'd do a couple of things a tad differently today, but the basic premise -- series + OMG -- works very well in a passive MM format. I used this wiring with a DP3T on-on-on switch to get series (up), OMG north coil (middle), OMG south coil (down).

(The line descending vertically is the positive output to the volume control, and ignore the 'neck pu' designation.)

I would think it would also work with an on-on (push-pull) switch, too, just eliminating one of the OMG modes...right?
