You're technically okay with that amp and the four 6x9's although you need to be sure not to turn the amp up all the way - it is more power than those speakers can handle if you're not careful. If you have a choice, I would go with a different amp. One with less wattage and more "clean" power.
ok thats cool, he was just gonna give me a great deal on that amp. i'll look around for a cheap rockford or mtx. maybe around 400 watts?
by the way, here's the dimensions of my box:

plus there's a "notch" in the back for that bracket. (it's centered, 6 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 1 1/16 deep.) the box doesn't look like the horrible diagram i made, it's just a rectangle.
i used 1 1/4 brads, wood glue, and sealed it with liquid nails. tho, i dont think i'll be able to seal the top (where the speakers will be mounted) once i attach it. so, i was thinking instead of wood glue, i'de run a bead of liquid nails to hopefully seal it up.
oh, and about the terminal cups... the guy at the store said i'll need two, is this true?
