Custom Stingray SR4 HH

I picked up a new bass over the weekend, it was custom built for Eric Wilson ( Sublime ) in 2010 . It shares features/ specs from the new Classic series bass line from EB .Probably the biggest difference is it's HH equipped. It's finished in a custom Seafoam/Grey, Old school headstock logo, bridge mutes, glossy finished neck with 7.5 radius and small fret wire, MM logo neck joint plate, black pickup covers, oh yes three band eq, over the usual two band on the new classics. The case was probably a throw in at the factory, the badge inside it says" Limited Edition 2008" nice case just the same with all the usual case candy.

Actually, the fact is no money ever changed hands on this bass anywhere down the line, it was gifted from Eric to his guitar tech buddy ( a local Long Beach Goodfella) that has been doing work for him for years. The bass then came to me in a trade. I needed a bass and this will do fine for now. Although i've had SR basses in the past , I still enjoy the classic Fenders. I have my eye on a vintage tobacco sunburst Jazz bass right now.

Sure thing Boogie, I'm sure I'll figure out soon if it's a keeper or not , gonna play it at rehearsal and see if it works for me there. If I decide to let it go , it won't be for a trade this time around, it has some unique features so it won't go cheap. But I will let you know just the same.
