Custom Stomp Boxes

You'll need to be more specific. There are tons of distortion boxes on the market so you'll just be getting everyone's favorite recommendation.

With that said, I like the Rat circuit. Earthbound Audio Iron Pig or Acid Pig, Fuzzrocious Rat Tail or Rat King, Mooer Dirty Secret, BYOC Mouse, or a plain ol' LM308 chipped Rat with a blender pedal. I'm sure there are plenty more on the market as well.

My favorite dirt box out is the Brimstone Audio XD-1. It's ******* awesome.

Yeah, but they are out of them until summer. He'd have to wait until July or whatever the ETA is. :( I know because I missed out on the first run.

I would love a crunchy distortion with some mid or bass, to obviously retain bass sounds. I dont mind having the addition of buzz.
If you watch this video this really reaches what im looking for. But i want more bite. I had a Jet City overdrive that broke that was SUPER close. But it was limited on what it could do.

Hello!
I have recently found a need to get a distortion stomp box, i was wondering what good custom builders are recommended?
It's not a custom pedal as such but the MSD "Silverstone" is a great OD pedal.
It's quiet, flexible and does not suffer of a loss in bottom end.
Really, really good.
It is also not very expensive!

Wren and cuff is a good option idiot box is another....Dude. Use the search here and flip what you learn to the interweb for more insight to narrow it down. Or like me... Buy a bunch and purge what fails to hit mark. Keep an eye on the classifieds here. Great sellers and good prices on slightly used dirt.

I'd say your best bet is to get a Crossover Blend Pedal made.
There are thousands of variants of overdrive and fuzz out there. Mostly based on 5 or 6 concepts.
Splitting your signal but especially blending with a crossover opens up EVERYTHING as a possibility.

I think you might be better off getting a distortion you like separately and using a pedal like Tym's Big Bottom to split your signal to the effects pedals or using a blender of sorts that has been already mentioned.
