Anyone mind Expounding on the Diatonic scale for me, and suggesting some crash course riffs and things to do for it.

Diatonic scale = major scale. No riffs for learning the major scale, just learn it. Once you learn how to create a major scale, practise it in all keys. Notice how you can choose a major scale shape and simply move it around to play it in different keys.

I believe I used the wrong terminology. Not Diatonic but a scale featuring 10 notes, or at least the blues scale. I'm moderately lost here at this point.

I used to play in blues bands, I remember the 1st one I called to audition for. I asked what songs to learn for the audition. He said "it's not about songs, either you can play the blues or you can't".

to play blues you have to listen to blues..get inside it. feel it.

Blues is kind of the basis for the study line that Andrew Pouska uses on that site. I learned major and minor pentatonic and minor blues scales as part of his study process.
