D'Addario balanced sets

Did a search but the only results I could see were a couple of for sale posts and people making balanced sets out of singles.

Been on Kalium strings for the last few years, and absolutely love them, however being in the UK it's a massive pain getting them shipped over, as I have to have the money to buy a ton of sets and then get them posted over, thankfully I like the sound of them when they're pretty worn in so I get a good 6 months out of mine where I'm still happy with them. Why they aren't more popular is a bit beyond me since they seem to be pretty cheap for what they are, and they're certainly alot cheaper then bass strings in the UK when you take getting them over here out of the equation.

Anyway, it's good to see some other manufactures tagging on to the idea, has anyone got any experience with the D-Addario sets? How do they compare? It's been a good while since I've used anything but Kalium. Judging by the tension charts they must be a little lighter, because they have a .120 E string on the heaviest standard tuning set (well that's all they seem to do for now at all) and then tension is under 50 pounds for it, and a similar tension Kalium is .114.

Also, how well do D'Addarios last, I've had a couple of sets before but that was years ago, if they don't last long it's probably worth spending the money of Kalium.

I've used the D'addario balanced sets. They feel nice and the XLs are good strings for a good price but not fantastic. My only caution would be that on certain basses with flat pickups there is a slight decrease in output with the middle two strings. One of the reasons we've ended up with fatter (hence tighter) middles historically was apparently to compensate for this.
