Not to derail the thread too much, but are you using the GHS PW as the high C with the cobalts? I've been trying to figure out what to use with their 5 string set as I loved the Cobalts when I had a 4...

La Bella Extra Light 6 string set:
(29, 39, 56, 77, 96 & 128T)
I like the idea of the slightly thinner C, given that the D'A .32 C is apparently a little tight haha and i like the more balanced and so monstrous size of the 128 B and the fact that its tapered too
Im just wondering if low B would line up properly with my Ibanez bridge haha

Yes, I have two basses with the Cobalt flatwounds. On one I have a TI and on the other a GHS PW high C and I am very pleased with both. Sound and tension wise they blend nicely with the rest of the set.

Based on everything I've read, the La Bella tapered 128B can be hit and miss. Some people have also reported tapered flatwound low B's in general could be wonky with intonation issues. Meanwhile, the Chrome 132B (non-tapered) seems to get better reviews.
If you're concerned about the D'A 32C being too tight, you can always order a single La Bella 29C to go with the rest of the Chromes. Or, even the GHS Precision Flat 28C, which is 34.5 lbs. tuned to C.
Ohhhh flip ok, I really don't want a dysfunctional low B, back to Chromes it is haha

I looked at the D'A string tension chart again and I compared the tension of a Chrome .40 G to the Prosteel .40 G and it was a 3.8 lb difference between the two and I then looked at what the Prosteel .32 tension was; when tuned to b and it was 37.4 lbs, so a D'A .32 Chrome would still be 41.2 Ibs; even when tuned to b, so yeah that will still be too tight hahaha

When I was on fretnation.com it made me wonder about possibly going with Ghs Precision Flats for the whole set

My experience with the GHS P Flats is only with the light 4-string set, 45-60-75-95, on my P bass.
I would describe them as "woody warmth with focused low-mid punch"; they're a lot more "old-school" than the Chromes. The light set is not the best balanced set tension-wise, but they do sound and feel nicely balanced nonetheless. Not as stiff-feeling as the Chromes 40-60-80-100, either. Very comfortable without feeling too loose or floppy.
Can't speak either for or against the 126B or the 28C.

Oh ok I think ill just go with the 28 C Ghs Flat with D'A Chromes 40-95 & 132 B ^_^

Actually na I do like the sound of those Ghs Flats so I actually will go with them for the whole range
thread revival. Has anyone tried adding a single 32C and 132B to the ECB80 set? (40/60/75/95). I love that set for E standard on a 4 string.

For anyone wondering
I have two sets of the ECB80 super light and ordered single .132 B strings and .030 wound (flat) strings from the guitar set. I read about this somewhere on tb and the .030 C should be long enough especially with the B and C strings having the shortest lengths overall on a 3x3 setup.

Daddario price their singles so reasonably, that going custom for all six would be no more expensive than buying a set, if you were especially picky about gauges (like I am
