D'Addario ETB92-5 Underlying gauge

It's no secret that under the nylon tape wrap on tapewounds there lurks a round or, in the case of D'addario's ETB92's , a flatwound string. Whether the nude flat is a Chrome I dunno. So that's a question in itself. Looking at the closest Chromes tensions it can be observed, that in the case of the 5 string ETB92-5 ( the set that interests me) the real underlying gauge of the tapewounds compared to Chromes
G 050 >040
D 065 >055
A 085 >075
E 105 >090
B 135 >125 (hypothetical as no Chrome 125)
I currently am using Chromes 132 100 75 and 50 for C# tuning. I am thinking of using tapewoinds 135 105 085 065 for a similar tension .
Are my thoughts about the tapewounds compared to the Chromes valid?

Oh heck I read this "D'Addario Tapewound bass guitar strings are flat wound" as being a flat wounds under the string. My boo boo. Easy mistake to make given that tape would be flat and no need for D'addario to point out it's flat and create the confusion.
Can I pull the thread or have it pulled?

I was going to let this thread kick the bucket, due to the error in my initial post about the tapewounds having flatwounds beneath the tape. I did try flagging it for deletion, but it's still here. Might as well use it he he. As michael_t mentioned, they are actually roundwounds of some kind beneath the tape. Would they be just nickel rounds under there? Anyone know? The tensions for the BEA tapes are close to that of xl nickel rounds that are .010" smaller in gauge. Ie 085 105 135 underlying gauge is close to 075 095 125 Nickel rounds. The G 050 and D 65 tapes are close to the 045 and 060 Nickel round wounds ie the underlying gauge of the tapes is .005" smaller than the taped gauge.

Awesome. Thanks so much for links. Really good to see pics about what actually lurks beneath the tapes of those brands. I read some place on TB that Roto 88 were flatwound under the tape, but Slapinfunk's sleuthing shows that's not the case. Shame that guy doesn't seem to have posted since 2020.
