Dan Electrode

I checked this out for my guitar blog w/ some sound clips. Link Removed It definitely will give a wah, chorus, flanger and delay a messier sound. I like it in the same way I thought the cheap Ibanez CF-7 chorus pedal had an analog Andy Summers-type sound.

I haven't been able to try a compressor with it. I never could get a Dyna Comp subtle enough and want to see if this will do it.

Sometimes voltage starving will cause a fuzz pedal to not just get "messier" but actually turn into glitchy, quasi 8-bit goodness. I made a little voltage sag box and tried it with everything I had and got that cool reaction with a BBE Free Fuzz pedal. Tried it on a muff, and got a ton more woolly bass (though a lot less crunch). I could be wrong, but I think it made the octave more pronounced and crazy on my green ringer clone. I'll have to get that out and a few other octave fuzzes and fool around with my voltage vampire again to see for sure.

Most of the time it just adds lame distortion to the circuit, but sometimes it's magic.

nice. are they gonna send em to the uk?

just make one it's super easy!

If you're not as crafty to DIY, the Dano only runs $20 in the states. I'll email them to see when it hits the UK. I know I they just started shipping in the US when I got mine.
