Danelectro Dano 63 Bass made in USA?

I am looking at a Danelectro Dano 63 bass supposedly made in the '90's. I asked specifically where the bass was made, and they are saying the U.S. Is this in fact incorrect? What countries were these basses made? This bass is in a foreign country so I cannot look at it.

The original Danos from the 60's were US made. Later reissues would be Korea, China etc.

If that '63 was made in the '90s, it was made in Korea. I have a U2, '59DC, Baritone, and a DCBass. All from Korea. Also in the crowd, is a USA '58 Convertible.

The 63 bass is something that never existed until the reissues came out . I'm not sure of the exact timeline , but it was not in the original reissue offering . It came a little later .

Yep, the original Danos were made about 10 miles from where I grew up. They were all over the place and still pop up at the occasional yard sale which is where, decades ago, I found my Silvertone 1444.

We had a couple of Sears stores within about 10 miles and a Montgomery Ward store about 1 mile away.
