Can we take a second to appreciate this unsung guy? Plays his butt off and most of us don't know his name. His playing credits are and he's been in Japan all these years. Even Wikipedia and Allmusic can't spell his name right. This is one of my all-time favorite bass lines.

Great video and education material as usual. I guess Louis Johnson on "I Keep Forgetting," by Michael MacDonald is awesome bass line in that genre too.
