Dark glass acquisition

Just grabbed the dark glass alpha omicron pedal. What are your preferred settings or pet peeves about it?
So far I like the growl and bite active, level almost cranked, blend 3/4, drive cranked, and the mod I’m just still not sure. Maybe right in the middle or a pinch to either side I just can’t decide

I used to have and will have again one day the first version of the AO. Love that pedal. I would recommend settings but it's been so long. I think I preferred one side to other but again, it's been so long. Try searching the DG thread. There will be people there ready to suggest settings I'm sure.

My favourite bass distortion, blend and mod at noon, level 10 o’clock, drive 2 o’clock, both grow and bite buttons in.

Replaced my x7 for distortion.

Following up on this thread after playing with a drummer. Holy shag. Can be sweet and sour. Def recommend this pedal. I need to do more research to see if the “ultra” versions are worth it. I am also considering the micro tubes X. But have to research the chain for it and if it’s worth to run at the same time as well.

I had both the X and X7 and preferred the X7 to have compress lows with distorted highs.
