It's a beginning... Next to fabricate a surround for the pickup and figure out that to do with those 2 extra holes. I wonder what a Dark Star would sound like going through an L-1000 tone circuit... hmmm...
The pickup itself has the wrong pole spacing so I'm waiting for another DS to drop in. The pickup also needs to come up about 3/16'ths and of course the top is arched... so this will take a little doing ... pine first, rosewood later ... Still even as crudely done as it is now, it sounds really good. Definately Dark Star phatt and rich..
