Darkglass alpha omega 900 vs ampeg SVT 7 pro

I know how the alpha omega sounds, and it sounds awesome. I know the ampeg has a bad reputation by some for reliability issues. But there are many that have worked fine. How would it sound compared to the darkglass? It would be played through the DG 212 cabinet if I eventually got it.

I had an SVT 7 PRO some years ago with the cutting issue, real no go for me. Now I have an alpha omega 500 and bought an ampeg pf 410hlf. Tried the combo last night in rehearsal and had a very defined tone, clear and dynamic. (rather mids oriented, added lows from the eq). My other GK rb head sounded although fuller on the ampeg cab. Always does when compared to small class D amps..
But... still asking myself how the 410 would pair with the svt7 pro. I loved it. So I will follow your post. Would it be closest to the GK but with Ampeg tone, or still class D-ish ?.
