Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Are there any NAM captures you've tried and find high quality and useful? Like the DCX Bass capture? Digging through Tone3000 is a chore for bass captures.
I've found these to be high quality and are the two I keep coming back to:
+ a kilt for funsies

I’m having a hard time not selling all of my stuff and ordering one. I notice a lot of you using an external DI with the Anagram..do you all feel it’s necessary to have one? I figured I’d run one output through the Noble model and the other through an amp or NAM of my Tyler Bass amp. For FOH and my ears

I personally haven't found it necessary but if I had a Noble, Sushi Box, or something else tasty (that wasn't as big as my REDDI) I'd consider giving it a shot just to see. FWIW I'm also running an Element on my other board and both are doing The Thing for my current needs. It's also (currently) my goal to have my small board be just the Anagram aside from MIDI switching, an expression pedal, and a wireless receiver.

I can understand that, I ran a neptunium with my HX Stomp for a while, but was curious if the DI outs were lacking in some capacity with the Anagram. Yeah.. the more I see from this unit and the way they plan to expand it makes it tough not to want one especially with the routing and Neural Captures.

I just spent nearly four hours chasing a hum that’s developed on my pedalboard. Swapping cables, power supplies, pedals, chain order, etc. had me scratching my head after repeated attempts that I was certain would reveal the culprit. By the time I found the actual culprit I was ready to be done searching, but also was not ready to accept what the problem was as it requires a complete rethinking of my pedalboard. All of this with a corporate event gig on the calendar for tomorrow where I need to be at soundcheck by 4:00pm and my board is currently in shambles.

I’ve been SERIOUSLY contemplating ditching my entire board in favor of just an Anagram. Tonight’s “fun” in pedalboard management and problem solving has greatly reinforced the likelihood that I’ll be doing so. As soon as they’re back in stock I’ll be grabbing one in the hopes that it’ll work for my needs.

I’ve been selling off all of my analog pedals, except my Cali big box because it was a gift from my wife. I don’t miss any of them, and I’ve brought in enough to pay for the Anagram and a Fender Custom Shop I found on Rev…. I don’t miss them because the Anagram is that good.
As to the di question. I’m using the Anagram and the only thing I’ve run into is getting the volume correct, which is accomplished by holding the top right button down. It took a bit of adjusting because we didn’t have anyone at the board and I was trying to adjust by just using my inears. The next event, we did have someone running the board and all is good now. So no external di needed.

Oh man does that resonate! What did the issue end up being? Hopefully you can things pulled back together in time for load in and sound check!

I mean, why not have both? :bassist: Backups are good! And options! And flavors! Given its recent performance at practice and having gotten my big board rebuilt, I’ll be taking another pass at replicating as much as I can with mine. It won’t end up exactly the same, but it is already able to nail the spirit / intent!
