Darkglass DG212N IN / OUT

Hello everyone!

As the proud owner of a Darkglass DG212 speaker, I've noticed that there are two Speak ON jacks at the back: one input and one output. Since I'm experiencing a loose connection on the input jack, I tried using the output jack, and to my surprise, it works perfectly fine.


Is this normal in your opinion? Or do I risk damaging the amp and/or the speaker?

yes normal - both are in or out

It's surprising that Darkglass specified IN and OUT then... considering that many manufacturers don't label anything

I have a DG212 as well. Expensive cabinet.

Why is the connection loose?

Pop it out and tighten the Speakon screws where the cables enter the connectors.

Hartke also labels them in and out as well.

What did you find when removing the cover plate?

Was the Speakon jack loose?
