Darkglass electronics?

not to an extreme, but I agree

however, I disagree here

I know it's more than that. For sure, but with MY uses it was an eq pedal and that's all, I didn't even touch the distortion in it. My band didn't really dig the distortion sounds with it and I didn't either. No biggie just not my flavor. I'm just giving the OP another opinion that might not" Go with the flow". Great company and Top notch gear though.

I don't remember all of the settings, but I'm pretty sure there were some mid-boosted settings, were there not? I'm not saying that the pedal bleeds puppies and rainbows, or even that it's for everyone, but I am quite confident you can dial the mids back in and get mid-focused tubey grit out of it.

That video link posted earlier was great but it seemed their was a big mid scoop in the tone. I prefer mids.

Love my B7K. I've had a Tonehammer, and a Sans Amp DI, but the B7K sounds warmer than either and is much quieter, too.

That has been my exp as well. I used the BDDI for years and got a VT the beginning of this year. They are now both gone and I got the B7K instead. In very happy. The 7 has so many more options tonally. I sort of miss my VT a tad but not really. The 7 has much more to offer IMO.
