Darkglass Exponent presets discussion thread

There is a red trash can icon, just click that and it's gone! Or did I misunderstood the question?

Screen grabs below. In the first screen, yes, one can delete as you describe. In the Preset Switcher, no. In the third image, you cannot overwrite an existing patch, even if it's your own. In the fourth image, yes you can.

There may be a logic behind all this, but I don't understand it. I find it a bit random and definitely frustrating, as I'm having to generate multiple copies of my patches with sub-numbers, while I work out what sound I'm after.

Needing to have a footswitch for this. My current projects require me to switch between presets etc. Don't think I can wait for the Darkglass switch to come out. The manual says a 5 pin midi will work. Something like this? I don't have any experience with midi stuff. Thanks in advance!!

I wrote to DG about this in January and got an extremely full and helpful reply. Attached.

I started playing around with my presets, and ended up adding the Leo Bass tube preamp to some of them. It really adds a richness to my tone. I am assigning the low, mid, treble from the tube preamp, and then assigning the two mids from the darkglass eq to the low and high mids. I love the adaptability of this head! Maybe it's in my head but I feel like the tube preamp gives me greater ability to add feel and dynamics to my playing. It just seems more responsive. Anyone else using the preamps? Or have any other happy results?

Thank you for reaching out back to us and we hope you are doing well.
The final prototypes were introduced at the Shanghai Music Fair some days ago.
We should have an update on the availability soon, as well as the pricing.
Thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.
