Hey! Plug a patch cable from effects send and return!
For whatever dumb reason they chose to use a switcher like the old GK800RBs had and that volume drop you’re hearing is it hunting for a signal and it’s going to the open effects loop circuit.
I have a 900 v2 and it started to do that, the patch cable fixed it. Bummer it has that issue but with the cable plugged in, no problems at all. Still love the head to death!
If you get a volume drop just bass into fx return then the problem has to be bass, lead or something after the return in the amp, most likely the power amp. And I assume you tested the bass and lead separately.
Darkglass is very likely to be the only people wanting to work on this. Techs with the knowledge to work on class D amps are unobtanium for the most part, and if they have to reverse engineer it because the manufacturer won't provide info it will cost more than getting a new amp.
