Darkglass Microtubes 900 v2 or Aguilar AG700

Better clean sound

Hi! I’m looking for a new amp/cab combo and have narrowed it down to these 2 choices: Darkglass Microtubes 900 v2 with a DG410NE cab -OR- an Aguilar AG700 with a SL410x cab.
I have listened to all the demos I can find and have read tons of reviews and thoughts of these 2. My issue is that there is not much info on the Darkglass clean tone. And the things I have read, of course, vary. I know the AG700 is a clean amp. How is the low end on the clean DG? Does the Aguilar have a bigger bottom end? How would you describe the differences in clean tone between the 2?
I play rock, indie, and pop music. My dirt is all by EQD pedals (I know this is what DG excels at).
Anyways, sorry for the dumb question and thanks in advance!

The AG700 is very clean and modern sounding. I think amps like that are perfect to allow you to adjust how it sounds. Amps that colour the tone too much leave you cornered.

I would run a tone hammer preamp pedal in front of my AG700 so I could have more of an old school flavour with a powerful super light head. I also think the AG700 had some really nice lows if I remember correctly

I liked the AG700 (clean and hi fi) plenty of low end, I had it paired with a SL212 and a SL112.

Also have the TH500 and TH700, they were more of the tone I wanted to hear (still have them both).

I sold my AG700 and replaced with Mesa Subway D800+ (Rock/Pop/hard rock). I use a Subway DI+ (same preamp as D800+) now for amp-less stage. You should consider Mesa, they offer amazing and very versatile amps, the D800+ matches up to what you’re looking for, but also consider WD800 and TT.
