Darkglass Suite Problems...

Hey everyone,

I emailed DG, but I have not heard back yet about this, but in the meantime I figured I would do some digging, and have found nothing...

Anyone have a problem with the DG Suite finding the pedal upon booting up? I have had it happen with two different pedals, and two different micro-usb cables. I am running OS 10.11 so I should be more than OK according to DG's software requirements. Do I need to register or anything? This seems like an odd issue to have, and with no manual or any info out there, I think maybe I am being a dope.

PS, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program a number of times, restarted the computer and blah blah blah...any ideas? If not maybe its something with the version of software I got, who knows...

TYIA!

I occasionally have the same issue with the Hyper Luminal (the only pedal I own that is Suite compatible). I have found luck by unplugging and plugging back in the power supply. I don't know if this is good practice to preserve the longevity of electronics though

Just wanted to close this thread with saying I figured out the issue I was having...it came down to an issue with my MacBook. I'm not yet sure exactly what the issue is with the Mac, but after I exhausted any other hw issue including different micro-usb cables, I installed the DG Suite software on a different computer and it worked flawlessly.

I had trouble updating my AO900 head. Turned out the USB cables I had were only made for charging or something, not data-transfer. Swapped to a different cable and it worked just fine.

This was absolutely my issue here. 10 USB-b cords in my house and only 1 of them was thick enough to be a data transfer style cable. As soon as I plugged in I was good to go. Thank you to those who have come before me!

I'm using the cable that my unit came with and having the same issue and I'm on a Mac , tried it with windows and it worked ! So I'm guessing an update is the answer as everything else I use my mac for works flawlessly.
