Darkglass Vintage... favorite switch?

I recently got a Vintage Deluxe from Darkglass. It's at the end of my signal chain after "The Strymon Block" of OB.1, Deco, and Flint. Formerly, my overdrive was only the thick tape saturation of the Deco. I keep it in an "always on" fashion lightly thickened, but then use the Strymon favorite switch for a richer saturation and lightly chorused setting (I have favorite switches for both the Deco and the Flint.) I use my Darkglass then for heavier overdrive, often in conjunction with the lighter setting of the Deco.

But the tone shaping of the Darkglass is amazing. I'd love to move to having my Vintage Deluxe as the always on tone shape pedal, but I then have to fiddle with knobs to get to the heavier overdrive I want for one song, then try to get it back, etc. I've looked around for favorite switches or hidden settings, but don't see any. Is there anyway to set a favorite setting on Darkglass pedals? I love the Vintage, but I'd even consider trading for a new Darkglass if I could figure out a way to get a favorites setting.

I put little color coded jewel stickers on mine. It works good, but my Vintage ended up with so many fav settings it kind of looks I Bedazzled it :)

I love my Vintage Deluxe as well! I was in a similar place... i wanted the overdrive but not all the time. So I added a Vintage Microtubes pedal before it in the chain. Problem solved!! I have my preamp pedal set the way I like it and then I get my favorite OD tone as well, when needed.

Its an all analog pedal with no digital brain (the Strymon pedals are all digital), so the only way to have multiple "dirty" settings at a tap is to have multiples Vintage pedals. The Ultra versions of all the pedals have a footswitch for Clean/Dirty, so you'd be able to have the EQ-engaged Clean tone for an always-on tone at least (but you'd lack the mojo of the Drive circuit in the Clean setting). To see if this Clean setting would be adequate to you for an always-on tone, set the Blend towards all the way Clean (counter-clockwise) and mess with the EQ, then dial up the Blend and see if the corresponding Dirty tone works with same EQ settings.

I use a standard VMT as an always-on toneshaper pedal with either an Alpha-Omega or X7 at the end of the chain for EQ and extra drive. The benefit to this kind of chain is having multiple flavors available, and most of the DG pedals stack well for a plethora of different textures in my experience (including two Vintage pedals into each-other!).

Another option is to pick up one of the Darkglass amps that has the VMT circuit in it, and have this circuit engaged all the time and another standard Vintage pedal in front of it for heavier settings.

I think my issues would be solved with an Ultra. I wish I'd realized I'd want that before I bought this, but I guess I'm trading it in. Or buying a VMT just for the drive. I'd have to chuckle at myself if I had two DG Vintage pedals on my board, but I guess that's where I am :) Thanks for the replies.
