Hey, Since we are in lock down worldwide cause of the virus. I got alot of time to play bass. I own this preamp and are wondering how I can jam with a backing track with it? I know I have to use a split aux probably. But how exactly does it work? I put it in the aux headphone, and then I put my headphone in one of the splits, but do I just put one from my laptop aux then? You have pictures of how its plugged? Cheers
You connect your laptop's output to the pedal's aux in, and headphones to the pedal's headphones output. I might be misunderstanding what you're trying to do, but that would be the simplest way of using both here.
Ah, I just noticed my vintage ultra only have headphone output. No Aux In. That sucks. Its so irritating, I find like three versons online, one with headphone input (like mine), one without headphone OR aux in. And one with both inputs. Tought only there were two versons of this pedal. Why would it be three versons. Now Im not sure if its v1 or v2. I just have the pedal, not manual or the box. Mine also have the USB.
Yes there are 3 versions, including two versions of V2. You bought the V2 without AuxIn.
