Das Audio ??

Hey Guys, looks like I will be buying a PA soon, mains for now and then subs. There is a dealer here in Miami that sells Das Audio speakers reading some reviews although not to many they seem to have a good rep. I'm looking at the Action 15a active for the mains and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them.The cool thing is the speakers are made in Spain but their World Headquarters is in Miami about 10 minutes from my house and if need be they do all warranty repairs in house there, no shipping out speakers, no 3rd party repair company..Thanks

Published charts, EASE data online, it says a lot when a manufacturer is willing to share actually performance data.

If you can buy locally and get service locally you are sitting pretty, especially if the price is right.

I'd like to see a longer warranty - 2 years isn't long enough these days, but then again you many never need any warranty service.
If you plan to get subs later, you may want to look at the 12A's now. They got my attention for size, performance, weight. Wish I had the HQ nearby

Thanks man, yeah still debating on the 12a or the 15a. It just seems to me that with keyboards, guitars and vocals going through them the 15 might work better but the guy selling them recommends the 12a if I'm using subs..Going to the Das Audio World Headquarters tomorrow to give them a listen and a b them side by side..

I can't speak for DAS specifically, but I ran 15 tops over 18 subs for years.. 2" horns in 15's (bi-amped).
Cleanest sounding system I ever ran.

Picked up a couple Action 12a but haven't been able to use then yet, this weekend I will. The warranty on these is 2 years on the amp and 5 years on the speakers, horn and box.
