The two pics I've attached have a red date stamp under the pickups (1964) -- I know they are low-resolution, sorry about that. I had never seen a body stamp date before but apparently they do exist :
"Body stamp dates were used by Fender from the early 1950's to the mid 1960's and then stopped until the 1980's where they started again sporadically to this day, sometimes you see them and sometimes you don't."

Would any of the pros around here know if this stamp looks legit? I know the body has been refinished.
