Double Bass David Gage Realist or Fishman Full Circle?

Funny!!! I too looked at this thread and wanted to give my opinion.
Fwiw, Elmon reflects my feelings 100%. And Bruce... thanks for reminding me about the Full Circles dual personality. I want to try flipping mine!

HOWEVER, this thread originated in September 2011! I wonder what the OP went with.
Good night gents....

Same here! Just wanted to give my 2 cents worth. If it has to be one of those two, Realist all the way! :hyper:

My professor uses a copper Realist and really likes it - She is quite the purist. I haven't used the Realist but I have the Full Circle. I get a good arco sound from it with very little tweaking. I also am running it through the Headway EDB-1. I do a short review on it @ Parker's Bass blogcom

Since this post I have purchased a new bass and switched to the David Gauge Life line and I really like it. I am running it through a Clarus 3 and a Qsc K12.
