Today I brought a verry troubled bass to David Gage Instrument Repair Shop, I was greeted by Manny, the nicest guy in the world. I walked right in and was greeted by everyone I met. They took my bass and checked it out imideatly. The estemate they gave me was almost half of what I expected it would be (Soundpost set up, bridge adjustments, fingerboard leveling, ect). Everyone in the shop was awesome, I'm going to pickup it up Saturday morning. I will keep you all updated on how it goes, i asked them to send me pics of what they do during the repair. So far I would recomend it to anyone going for anything from a setup to major overhaul.

Today, one of the members of David's shop called letting me know everything was going great, and that it would be ready to pick up by tomorrow. I am so happy right now, Im glad to see that the person working on my bass really cares a lot about the customer. Just another reason why I would recommend David Gage

Sprocket has done things I didn't know you could do to fix and improve my bass, Manny's done more than one amazing setup/fixup on my electric instruments, and Mike is the first person I take my bow to. DG is the place to be!
I saw in the shop they made and sold EB's... but not until after the czech-ease bass, I want to go to school around a city, which means public transportation. Man they are great, but in July I'm getting my glasser german bow, and my brazilwood french to them, I'm gonna get new string put on then, warmer weather means slight adjustments. I know for a fact that even if I'm half way around the world I'm going to David for my repairs and setups,
btw the bass has a HUGE sound, I try not to play with a pup, but I don't think I ever will now, but if I do, David Gage's Realist pickup...don't waist you're time with anything else, for the price of a fishman and a K&k pre, you can get the realist clip, and not even need a pre. One of my teachers told me about it and he was right.
Now, ill be sending my bass buddies over to him, even if you have to cross a bridge, come across the highway or get on a boat its worth it.
Ill have the soundclips up soon, audacity doesn't like me right now. I have hatian fightsong and celestial chant recorded any other suggestions?
