David J

I saw Bauhaus on their Resurrection tour when I was 15. I went with my friend Kai, who got me into them. So at the time, I barely knew who they were. But it was so magical. It was at Harbor Lights in Boston (for a while I had the bootleg tape of this show, wonder what happened to it??)...full moon...I'll never forget it.

Who else is a fan of David J's playing? I want to check out his solo stuff...I've been an avid Bauhaus/Tones On Tail fan for years and have been really listening to his lines lately. Really cool, simple stuff, especially "Kick In The Eye" and "In Fear Of Fear." :bassist:

I loved them when I first started playing. I learned a lot of their baselines as a teen, and was motivated to pick up a fretless quite early because of David J.

Tones on Tail wasn't David J. though... it was Glen Campling playing bass. Similar style though...
