David Weston with James Brown

Possibly my favorite Fender Jazz Bass moment in a Hollywood movie. Bassist David Weston playing his 70's Jazz with James Brown in "The Blues Brothers" movie [filmed in 1979, released in 1980]. I did this montage of him playing in a church scene. I would love to have a quality picture of him with this bass. I highly recommend James Brown - "...Live (Hot On The One)" live album which contains David and his Jazz Bass.

That church scene and the one near the end with Cab Calloway are my two favorites in the whole movie.

I know thar bass well. It has a divot it it at least 1/4 of an inch from his fingernail.
BTW David is my cousin we grew up together.
