Double Bass DB and zoom B3

Anyone is using the B3 as a preamp/eq ?

During the band rehearsals (pop/rock/blues-ish),
my b3 is between my doublebass' Realist and my GB Shuttle 6. I mostly use the 7 band graphic eq and AcBsPre for depth control. Of course, the tuner is pretty much always on : )
I found it easier to handle than the platinum pro.

Any success stories ?

And you dont miss the low cut or the phase shift from the Fishman? Iam planning on getting the MS-60B and the B3 for my electric basses. Never figured that they could replace my Fishman.
