Double Bass DB/Any info appreciated on this…

this is an interesting one.

on the one hand, it's only $200.

the chances of getting more than $200 worth of bass are pretty high.

but the chance of it essentially being a complete waste of $200, also high.

the real risk here is getting bass that is harder to play / more issues than it's worth.

I've had a few students over the years with really hard to play school basses. it's their only option. i suspect it has something to do with them not continuing, because they're unaware of what it's like to use a more reliable/easier to play bass.

but it's really a matter of going in knowing you might loose your $200.

Update: someone offered more than asking price and the seller asked if I wanted to match it, nope! In reality I most likely dodged a subpar instrument and poor example to my intro into the world of DB. Thanks all I appreciate it.

Don't do it.

The entire scenario worries me on your behalf..
Haha thanks I think, we can leave it there unless you want to elaborate…
