Double Bass DB & BG with one amp on stage

I wound up building a doubling pedal board.

BG > Boss TU3 > Paradriver

DB > Fishman pro plat bass EQ > Boss TU3 > whirlwind passive DI

both these get blended into a Boss LS2 line selector. I also use a DC Brick to power the whole schebang.

I leave the amp set flat and use the outboard preamps for any and all EQ'ing. Sounds more cumbersome than it actually is once I wired it up. Advantage of this is that I can either send a seperate DI out to FOH for each instrument or a single DI out from the amp's DI. Added advantage is that I am good to go on any backline bass amps I run into. Although more often than not if I am using a backline it is because I am playing in a supporting act that night. That frequently means I am on just one instrument all night.

The biggest drawback is that I need to bring the entire pedal board to any gig where I am straight DB all night. Well that or find where the hell my 2nd fishman PPBEQ went.
