For those of you in orchestras that do some touring, what kind of touring trunks do you use? Our orchestra bought a set of Kolsteins about about 10 years ago but the insides are starting to break down or rot out. We're considering have them refurbished or replaced, but they're a bit cumbersome to use.
I think we'd also be open to having custom trunks made, as I know many orchestras have done.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
