Having a problem with my DBX 166...
I have the ratio set to about 4:1 and the attack and release set fast. soft knee is activated too, but this happens on hard knee too...
at it reaches the threshold it makes this sorta pumping/distorting sound, but only when I play on the B-string below the 5th fret? I've tried playing with the ratio and attack and release settings, but nothing seems to fix it?
it's like once it is over the threshold it is ok, but when it is sorta on the verge of being above/below, it makes this stuttering kinda pumping sound
ie. when it's flashing between the orange (soft compression) light and the red (hard compression) light...
