Wheelie is an indie rock band propelled by world and dance beats. We are a trio that uses ableton sequences, percussion and performance art elements.
The band launches it's live shows in September. Unfortunately, our bass player is leaving the band around that time.
We just launched the media campaign on the full moon of June 4th and will be dropping a single and a video each full moon/new moon through September as promo. There is an extensive PR campaign leading up to and through the first two night run of shows.
We are looking for a solid bass player with big ears, skills, transportation, gear and enthusiasm. We are chill but aren't doing this only for fun. We have been working on this for two years so far.
The shows are part perfromance art (a la Flaming Lips) and part concert. We'll have dancers, video's costumes lights and smells. The music is up and fun.
We are looking for a bass player that is available to make rehearsals in NE, DC and available to tour the region.
