DD-3 vs DD-6

BOSS DD-3 and DD-6 Digital delay stomp boxes.

| can hear a huge difference between these two pedals on the musicians friend page.
but, |m also considering the possiblity that they may be deliberatly holding back on the sample clips of he DD-3 to make us customers go for the more expencive pedal.
| ask this because | see that quite a few of you are using a DD-3 in your pedal boards, but still have alot of other fairly expencive gear.

Does anyone have experience with both pedals, difference worth 50$?

When I don't plan on using the extra features, I like to keep my board as simple as possible for a live setting, so the DD-3 is perfect for a simple delay if that's all you need. I generally have one setting that I like to use, and I find it easier to dial in on the DD-3 than the DD-6. I still own a DD-6 and a DL-4 for the wider variety of stuff I like to do when recording, however.
