Playing it perfectly last night, pick it up tonight and no sound? What can suddenly go wrong in a passive guitar (MIM P bass)?
I still get noise when plugging in the lead with the amp switched on and I still get noise if I touch the pickup poles with my fingers but no sound from strings?
The pickups are about a week old but there isn't much to go wrong there is there, or do pots suddenly give up?
I have removed all the pots and pickups and checked connections which are fine, I have also checked the grounding to the bridge. But still no sound.
Help, it is the only bass I have got so a bit critical!
