Dean bass

I'm trying to sell my five string bass to buy a different guitar but I can't figure out what model of dean it is. Its not written on the guitar. Does anyone know how to tell the models apart?

Looks to be an Edge 5.

Yeah that's an older model Dean Edge 5. The new Edges do not have the pointy headstocks and they no longer have a three knob configuration. IMHO the pointy headstock Edges are much better than the new ones. The bass is probably worth ~ $250.

That bass is the twin brother to my old Dean Edge 5. I think these basses have the most amazing necks of any 5er at ANY price! Lot's of bang for the buck. I've never played a new one, but I have also heard that the older models are superior (better pickups, etc.)

Agreed with both. The older ones are better and the value.
