Yeah, was going to try to BEAD a 4 string MIM - even negotiated the deal - as a cheap experiment, but do need the G string, so I backed out as politely as I could. After a couple of test runs on PJs that didn't quite cut it, I bit the bullet and have a new "REAL" P bass with everything I need on the way.
