My opinion is that if you don't know the basic scales and basics patterns is very hard to play good music. Also is very important to learn new things especially if you are a beginner. Tell your guitarists that if they want to play guitar properly they HAVE to learn some theory and they have to learn new things.
After they will learn the basics music will be much fun to play ...

Granted, not my first choice of genre, but the production sounded great. Everything was clear and heavy. I personally have to break from the death vox, so SOILWORK is more to my taste. I dug the music a lot. Keep it up.

My group HEDDA is in a similar state. We just released our EP on MySpace and will have it on CD Baby in a month or so. We describe our music as "European style Power Metal with Progressive Moments and Tendancies" - influenced by Kamelot, Maiden, Queensryche and DT among many others.

Some great riffing on there, the gutteral vocals are great, the higher ones aren't my thing but its a bit too "modern metalcore" for me, I like my death metal more in the Morbid Angel vein.


I think the "Bloodbath meets Devildriver" comments are spot on, namely, the bits that sound like Bloodbath are rocking, the bits that sound like Devildriver don't appeal to me at all. I think its a little overproduced, leaves it sounding too clean, not dirty enough.

Hello

This album reflects very good our music preferences we like bands from Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Vader to Devildriver, Lamb of God, In Flames, Black Dahlia Murder and many others... So all our preferences meet in this album. We tried to unite the old style and and new style but i don't know how much we managed to do this :)
