Debra is my woman (as a bassist)! Get her solo album and look out for studio work with Outcast, TLC and other Atlanta acts.
That woman can groove and she has a nice voice!!!! Nice tone too.
I wasn't familiar with her before watching those videos. Wow is right. She can certainly play, but she's also a pretty good singer.
... and she's pretty nice looking too.
One of the very few woman I've seen who can actually play!! I see lots of ladies who can hold root notes all night, but to front a band with chops and vocals like that is rare based on my experience.
She play'in in the big leagues for sure; good for her!!!
I have her DVD, she makes me want to testify!
Amazing she plays a TRBjp.
Unless she has a super light one, that's amazing a woman is gigging with one! Monster weight, monster tone!
You can't go by size. many small guys play heavy basses, and many big guys complain about heavy basses. I remember seeing Sheryl Crow with a really sweet Stingray that didn't look too light, and she is a small woman also.
Talent, looks, what else is there?
She sure can play (and sing!).....
