Double Bass Decent double Bass for jazz???

And the flip side of this: How do you turn this dang thing on? What speak up sunny, I can't hear a word you're sayin'. :hiding:

At my house, we have an electronic piano. My parents have a nice upright piano. When we visited, my son asked if he could play it. Sure. Next question: "How do you turn it on?"

This is the same person who, when brought to Guitar Center, pointed to the electric guitars and asked: "Daddy, what are those little basses?"

I'd give the chap below a try. He works on his own and is a Jazz specialist (he was a pro double bassist):

Peter Barnaby

Stringed Instrument Maker/Repairer Specialising the Double Bass
CF4 The Terrace Lincoln LN2 1BD
Business Number 01522 840036 Mobile 07717 028 925 Home 01507 601374
[email protected]

Incidentally, I'm not on any kind of commission!!!
Pete Barnaby is a great guy. Has set up my basses for jazz playing and even made me a great homemade transducer in the past. Will probably be going to see him again in the near future…
