Deciding on what Bass

I have had some Sire basses (M2, M7, Vv7 (fretless), P7, U5) and sold them all.

Now I have started gassing for a Sire with roasted neck and I am eyeing either a D5, P5 or a P10. If you want that pre-amp the P10 is the thing. But I guess that the P5 is a really good deal with the same high quality tuners that the P10 got (the P7 got some cheaper tuners). Too bad all the colours on the P5 are "wrong" for me. I find both the D5 and P10 better for my taste (I actually like the P10 natural, I guess that one is the least popular but I like it!).

So have a look at the P5 before you decide! LowEndLobster have a review here of the P5 and have one of the P10 as well. He recommend the P5 over the P10 and the D5.

I have bought no less than 4 basses the last 6 weeks, and have sold only one (I try to keep the max number ov basses at 7-8) so I am right now "over" my budget and I have no basses I want to part with. Lucky for me my wife love me even though I spend too much on drums and basses (I have 4 drum kits as well).

Hello
I just bought the V7 Marcus Miller
I’m trying to decide between this one and the P7 or the P10 any feedback?
I went ahead and bought the P10 (natural). So that answers what I prefer.

LowEndLobster rate the P7 over the P10 due to the P7 being cheaper. Put a gun to his head and he would tell you that he prefer the P10 by a mile due to the better looks. If the bass is ugly we won't take it to the gig, no matter how it plays. We always take the better looking bass. Simple as that.
