Decisions decisions

Ok, here's my problem, although not a horrible problem.

Hinging on the sale of one of my basses (which i hope to know for sure tonight), I am trying to decide between 2 new ones (well new used ones)

the first is a used epiphone thunderbird alpine white bass. its in really good shape and I have played it at the store so I know what to expect.

the other is a white Peavey Foundation S 4 string. havent actually played this yet but I will before I make the final decision.

any reasons pro and con to go for or stay away from either guitar. The Peavey is definately better on the pocketbook

thanks

I've had a couple of Foundations and I would go with that, as long it's in good shape and the neck can be adjusted. These basses are notorious for having problems with the truss rod. (being able to adjust it enough, and having to add washers..etc.) Plus they balance better than the Thunderbirds.
