Definitely not mad to see this as a back line amp

Subbed with a Big Band at their studio today and they said they already had an amp in the studio. I wasn’t super concerned, but I did have some trepidation… so I brought my doubler preamp that I made because it sounds great and it was a doubling gig.

I was so thrilled to roll in and see this sweet Genz Benz Shuttle just waiting for me.

It sounded so good with my preamp. Made for a really pleasant afternoon.

I still have a Shuttle6.0 as a backup and I still play that 2x10 cab weekly, for several years now.

It sounded so great in that room. I wish I would have bought one when I was looking for a new combo a while back. Even though I'm super happy with what I have now I sometimes forget just how good every amp in that series sounds.

Walking in and seeing something like that waiting for you is like walking into a room and seeing a Labrador puppy wagging it's tail wanting you to pick it up.
