defretting project

trying to decide which would be the more useful/fun de-fretting project. Trying to decide between my Yamaha RBX760A or a Sterling Subray 4. I have an Italia Imola which I did that turned out nicely. It is a Jazz style bass with passive jazz PU's and a Slim Jazz neck.
Any thoughts or should I do a 5'er for variety?

Fretless 'Rays are fantastic so the Subray 4 gets my vote.
