For once, I wished the tester had slapped at least a little bit!
I need to get my hands on some Delano's...never heard a bad demo. Maybe my fender American Deluxe Jazz V...
I love listening to that dude play! He is so smooth and lyrical. He makes every bass he demos just sing!

Hi. I got an email from BBG this morning re: the Delano P pup with four MM poles. How does it compare with the Duncan QP pup? This would be about $75 less. The Delano costs more than the whole bass I want to modify. One pup I know I like is the DiMarzio Split P, with iron blades rather than wound alnico magnets. Very deep growl, and even better with an Omega bridge.

Warwick used to be MEC electronics, so thanks for the new info. Where in the Great White North do you live? I've only traveled as far north as Nanaimo with my parents when I was 13yo. I live in Eugene, OR USA. Sorry we took a while in replying.
Love Delano pickups, I have their hybrid pickups in my Clover bass, just amazing the variety of tones and how great each setting sounds.
Delano makes a P replacement with dime-sized poles, only four. $145 from Best Bass Gear, free shipping. A wish list item right now. I only play to my dog in the living room; gigging days probably over. The part would go in a Rondo SX P copy - whoopee. Thanks for the positive review.
Loving the xtenders so much, great passive tone. Probably gonna install some coil switches
I am really interesting in the passive tone of these xtender humbuckers.
Could you elaborate more on the neck and bridge tone of xtender humbucker in general, or versus the tone of passive single coil jazz bass (I have fender and Lakland 5560 jazz bass)?
If the xtender can replicate the tone of single coil jazz bass (in addition to serial and parallel) then I will select them for my upcoming custom bass!!
